Personality and Behaviour

Ron is a Weasley, so he has the trademark red hair and freckles. He's tall and gangly, though he's taken to working out a lot (since he's found that physical strength can be just as useful as magic sometimes), so he's not scrawny or anything, not like Harry (who is a pretty scrawny git, which is funny considering he saved the wizarding world and all). He has a bunch of battle scars which he wears with pride. He's tried to convince Hermione that the scar on his arm looks like a lion, but she tells him that he's being ridiculous. Why doesn't she just humor him a little? Would that really be so hard? Ron has a short temper, but is fiercely loyal to his friends and family and will do anything for them - so he's a bit brave too. He's not as smart as Hermione necessarily, but then again, he gets bored in class. Ron Weasley is a good friend, and a good person to have on your side.

And of course, he has a rather short temper at times, especially if you're insulting him or his family or his friends. He's deeply insecure, though it's getting better, since everyone has been congratulating him for helping to save the wizarding world and such.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

He can cast a Patronus that looks like a Jack Russell terrier. He can overtake a whole bunch of snatchers at once, even when they steal his wand. He's not a very bad Keeper (George admitted it!). He's good at imitating voices (he did a convincing Peter Pettigrew, for instance). He's brilliant at chess and reading tea leaves (alright, the last part of that was a lie). And he wouldn't admit this, but Harry and Hermione would add that he's a great friend, and they don't know what they would've done without him.

Weaknesses

Insecurity, jealousy, foul temper. Rubbish at paying attention in class (or so Hermione says, she also insists that Ron is quite smarter than his grades suggest). The insecurity's bad, though, because he'll believe people when they say bad things about him, even if those things aren't true.

Personal History

He went to Hogwarts for six years, and then spent what would have been his seventh year hunting for Voldemort's Horcruxes, though, looking back on it (and don't tell Harry this) he feels like they could have spent that time more effectively. And they really should've thought through the food situation better, but no, that's beside the point. Then there was the Battle of Hogwarts, after which, well… how's he supposed to return to Hogwarts now? Besides the fact that he can't imagine being taught anything he doesn't already know (not to brag, but, what else can he need to know if he survived the last year of his life? Really?). He can just imagine it, walking down to the Great Hall for breakfast, and thinking to himself, "Oh look, there's where I saw my brother's dead body." Stuff like that, you know? He really enjoy Hogwarts, but he thinks it might be time to move on.

He really does care about his family, even Percy. They're Weasleys, after all. They come from a long line of people with similar red hair and freckles, and even though he doesn't really care about pure blood supremacy or any of that rubbish (because it really is rubbish), they're… well… Ron is rubbish with emotions, leave that to Hermione. He just really cares about them, and can't imagine doing anything else until he's sure that they're alright. Harry and Hermione are his family too, though, even if it isn't through blood, and he cares about them just as much even though he's rather confused about his feelings towards Hermione. Back to the point, though, he's really trying to figure out what to do with his life. Everything was so focused on defeating Voldemort, and now that that's over and done with, there seems to be an empty space, a lack of purpose, and he's trying to get it filled.

Misc. Information:

OWLs and NEWTs:

He got all of his OWLs except for Divination and History of Magic, and he's not sure if he's going to go for NEWTs (probably not).

Wand Type:

It was fourteen inches, willow, unicorn hair. (Did he ever get his wand back that got stolen by Snatchers?)
